UK Reports Progress on its National Action Plan for Women, Peace and Security

December 14, 2016:  The UK Department for International Development reports on progress made over the past year in delivering the Government's commitments under the UK's National Action Plan (NAP) on women, Peace and Security (WPS) 2014-2017. According to report, the UK leads the world on this agenda, through practical action, political lobbying and funding. May 20, 2019: The Citadel, the military academy which was forced to admit women after a 1995 Supreme Court ruling, selected it's first female regimental commander last year. Sarah Zorn's time as the first woman to lead 2,400 cadets is documented in a photo essay by Alyssa Schukar.
