Ukraine's Sharpshooting Women

In a special report from the frontline, German broadcaster ZDF reports that a number of former sport shooters have put their keen eye and precise aim to the use of the Ukranian defence forces. One markswoman - codenamed 'the witch' for her superhuman skill - has become an instantly respected hero within her all-male unit.

So too in other aspects of the military war effort are Ukranian women making their valuable presence known. A total 38 000 female soldiers are currently enrolled in the army and policewomen throughout the country have had to become more militarily engaged, as they document war crimes and endeavour to protect civilians.
